These markets also offer the perfect opportunity to explore some of Berlin’s nicest areas. Here is a short list of some Berlin favourites.
Turkish market at Maybachufer
Here you will find a lot of fresh produce, garments and miscelaneous household items. So that people won’t go hungry whilst shopping there are a few really nice street food stands, varying from Turkish to African to vegan frozen yoghurt.
When: Tuesday and Friday from 11:00 – 18:00
Where: Maybachufer (in Kreuzberg)
Boxhagener Platz
This is a small but nice market, with a little green sitting area in the middle. On Saturday there is food, on Sunday there is a second hand market. It is a really nice area to hang around for a bit, besides visiting the market. On nice days there will also be street music or some other performance.

Mauerpark Flea Market
A Berlin institution, not to be missed! Lay in the grass, listen to and watch one of many performances, try some locals foods and drinks…the possibilities are endless at Mauerpark. If you are lucky enough they might even have the legendary karaoke on, feel free to watch or sign up yourself! This market also is in the middle of a nice area to explore, it is called Prenzlauer Berg.
